In one of the most bizarre twists of this campaign, the Republican party has started distributing pamphlets in West Virginia and Arkansas, claiming the Democrats would ban the bible. Bush and his pundits are now stooping to even lower levels to attack John Kerry and the Democratic party - this time with out right slander and libel. Sen. Robert Byrd, West Virginia, is just one of the many Senators who are outraged at this blatant and vile truth trashing on the part of the Bush campaign. Another is Sen. Blanche Lincoln, from Arkansas, whose state was also targeted. A spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee confirmed the mass mailing was sent to Arkansas and West Virginia. Michael Berglin
