Well-known international financier George Soros can not predict dollar's behaviour.
On Thursday while addressing the students and faculty of the State University - Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Soros stated that the US authorities intended to reduce the dollar rate through manipulations with it in the opinion that its lower rate would initiate economic growth in the country.
According to him, the US authorities are doing so against the background of their understanding that they are playing a dangerous game which might negatively affect Europe and financial markets.
Soros pointed out that the dollar reached its lowest level but said it was still unclear whether the drop would continue or the tendency would start to reverse.
Soros reminded those present of currency cyclic fluctuations but he did not know what would happen to the dollar. George Soros inquired that "if the US economy started to grow would it be better to keep savings in dollars?"
