Pamela Bach, David Hasselhoff's ex-wife, was sued Thursday by her former attorney, who says the actress owes him nearly $40,000 (EUR 29,468) in unpaid fees.

Attorney Gary Mitchell said he represented Bach in her divorce from Hasselhoff for about six months, but she never paid him for his services.
The lawsuit was filed a day after a judge ruled that Hasselhoff, the former star of TV's "Baywatch" and "Knight Rider," does not have to pay nearly $200,000 (EUR 147,340) in legal fees to another attorney who represented Bach during their child custody battle.
Attorney Debra A. Opri argued during a hearing last week that Bach had given her permission to seek payment from Hasselhoff. Opri said she knew when she was hired by Bach that the actress had little money and that the only way to get paid was to go after Hasselhoff's share of the couple's community property.
Bach replaced Opri with Mark Vincent Kaplan several days after losing custody of the couple's two teenage daughters. An after-hours call to Kaplan on Thursday night was not immediately returned.
Hasselhoff and Bach were married in December 1989. He filed for divorce in January 2006 and their divorce became final last August.
