"Estonia has done everything to have the border treaty with Russia ratified," Ansip was quoted as saying by newspaper Postimees. "It's a pity that Russia doesn't want to ratify an agreement that it has itself signed."

Russia and Estonia in May signed the long-sought treaty defining the border between the two countries, the AP reminds.

Estonia's parliament ratified the pact in June, but angered Moscow by including a preamble referring to the Soviet occupation of Estonia. Russia said that was unacceptable and would prevent its parliament from ratifying the treaty.

Pravda.ru reported earlier, that Putin on Thursday signed an order rescinding Russia's signature.
