The question of bringing action against two young men, who threw tomatoes at leader of the KPRF (Communist Party of the Russian Federation) Gennady Zyuganov in Samara /the Volga region/, is being considered, the press service of the Samara Main Interior Department informed RIA Novosti on Tuesday.
The detainees are held in the police department of Samara's Leninsky district, a source in the press service reported.
"The hooligans are two activists of Limonov's party of 23 and 17 years of age /Eduard Limonov is a well-known writer and leader of the National Bolshevik Party/," the interlocutor said. At present it is being decided whether to apply penal or administrative sanctions to the disturbers, the source said.
During Tuesday' meeting of Zyuganov and journalists in Samara's House of Scientists the two members of the National Bolshevik Party intruded inside, throwing tomatoes at the leader of the KPRF. However, they missed, hitting the nearby bust of Lenin.
The two young men were immediately detained by Zyuganov's bodyguards and given in charge of the police of the city's Leninsky district.
